Valve is not only kicking off their new DOTA2 game but also an international tournament with prize money amounting to 1 million dollars for the victor. Here is one of the early matches in this tournament as well as a nice preview of some of the heroes in DOTA2.
The maps are much more beautiful than I had expected when they are in motion. The game looks pretty polished but release date has yet to be announced. Hopefully they take as much time as they need to perfect it before release.
Also related is a release of the offical trailer for DOTA2 which is also quite enjoyable. Gotta love Valve when they do all these cool little animations.
