Persona 4, the popular video game by Shin Megami Tensei is getting an anime adaption. They have even managed to get game composer Shoji Meguro to do the music for the anime series. For those who don’t know it is being animated by the animation studio AIC and is supposed to air during the fall 2011 anime season around October.
Apparently this video has yet to appear on the main site for the anime, Mayonaka Tv. They are currently releasing trailers on days corresponding to when characters appeared on the midnight channel which is a major plot point of the series. However this video was released during a Nico Live event. (Sorta like japanese Youtube and Livestream rolled into one)
The animation quality looks quite good and this trailer shows off the day by day scroll that is present in the game will also be present in the anime. The animation also features all the original Japanese voices from the game. Heres hoping it end up better then Persona’s last mediocre venture into anime, Persona: Trinity Soul.
