Star Wars: The Old Republic finally given release date

And a monthly subscription too!

In what seems like ages, the moment most gamers have been waiting for has finally come. EA and BioWare officially announced the release date of Star Wars: The Old Republic. One of 2011′s most anticipated games will launch December 20th in North America, and December 22nd in Europe.

Along with the release date, they also announced that the game will be subscription based and that it will follow a $15 (£8.99/€12.99) a month plan. As well as a 3 month plan, and 6 month plan for $42 (£25.17/€35.97) and ($78 £46.14/€65.94), respectively.

Everyone is still eligible for early access, you just have to get your butts to your local retailer or head on over to SW:TOR’s official site and pre-order a copy!

As for me, I’m packing my things and starting a line today.
