This new trailer gives us a breakdown of some of the new modes on Street Fighter x Tekken. Also showing the brand new Gem System.
The Gems are equipped to give characters stat boost on either Attack, Defense, Speed, Cross Gauge, or Assist. Each Gem can be activated during battle by doing certain conditions first for it to kick in. As much as I would take the time to find out a nice set up for the gems on the character’s I’ll be using, I would much rather just fight without those gems. I am glad that you’ll be able to fight matches with the gems turned off.
Another announcement at NYCC 11 is that a SFxT PC version is in development as well as an official release date; March 6, 2012.
