Ubisoft has recently announced the latest installment to the Rainbow 6 franchise, titled Rainbow 6: Patriots. The Tom Clancy title is set for a 2013 release and little information is available on the game as of now. According to creative director David Spears, “Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics, and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction. This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience.”
Information on the game can be found in the December issue of Game Informer, most likely to reach homes some time next week.

Ubisoft has officially released a “Target” gameplay footage trailer, showing what they aim to accomplish in the final build of the game.
