Aaron Griffen was probably one of the biggest, and most annoying characters introduced to the masses this year. With his I can do what I want cause I use to be rich attitude in a post apocalyptic world on the brink of destroying itself, makes Aaron seem like nothing more than a little selfish dick who can’t get over the fact that he may have very well have helped the world devour itself. Even though Aaron Griffen is a key definition of a self addicted narcissist, this is only half of the reason why he won this years Worst Character award. The Ice T played character was added in as a filler for the game, nothing more. The introduction of this character does nothing to progress the gears storyline in any positive means or way. All Aaron Griffen does is give the player a break in between missions so that taking on lambent and or locust doesn’t become tedious, repetitive and boring. The only way epic games would be able to save this character would be with a storyline expansion DLC having Marcus and him confront each other once and for all or by having it be the exploits of Aaron Griffen after he escaped the destruction of his tower, with all this being said nothing will be seen till next year probably, and for this Aaorn Griffen is our Worst Character of the Year.
