Makoto Asada, head of Cave’s Game Development Department, has announced that they are currently developing a shooter title for the Windows Phone 7. With the recent port of Death Smiles to the iOS it is only fitting that WP7 users get something. Details for the game are very limited and the new game is only about 20-30% complete. This, along with the fact that announcements have stated that the game is an original shooter title, suggests that it is not just going to be Deathsmiles ported over. The only thing that it is safe to assume at this point is that the difficulty will be infuriating but fun the entire time. So far it is only confirmed for Japanese WP7s but, with luck, it should make it over to North America.
