Square-Enix has announced the first Episode DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The new DLC will be entitiled “Sazh: Heads or Tails?” and will put players in control of Sazh from Final Fantasy XIII. The story of the DLC will run parallel to the story of the main game. Once completed, players will have the ability to add Sazh to their party. Additionally, The DLC includes two new card games, Chronobind and Serendipity Poker, in Serendepity, the Casino-style area that appears in the game in the second chapter and beyond.
Also, Noel’s Spacetime Guardian outfit and Serah’s Beachwear outfit will be available on February 28 via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360 priced at 240 Microsoft Points, and on February 28 via PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 system priced at $2.99.
While I’m not a huge fan of DLC that is released within the same month, since it will be released in both Japan and North America at the same time and Japan got the game a few months before us, I can can understand it. The DLC also will not cost gamers much money at all, being only 400 MSP ($5).
