A second DLC for Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer had been hinted at by devs, along with leaks and fan speculation that the next DLC would add Vorcha and Quarian males as playable characters. Turns out all of that information was true, as Bioware has just announced the Rebellion Pack.
Like the Resurgence Pack that was released back in April, the Rebellion pack will be free to anyone with a valid EA online pass for Mass Effect 3. The pack adds 6 new playable classes: the male Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, the Vorcha Soldier and Seninel, and the Ex-Cerberus Adept and Vanguard, and each class comes with their own unique abilities to boot. The pack will also include three new weapons: the Cerberus Harrier Assault Rifle, Reegar Carbine Shotgun, and the Krysae Sniper Rifle. Like the last DLC, there will be two new maps, Firebase Jade and Goddess. Jade is set in an ancient Salarian reservoir, and Goddess on Thessia, the Asari home world. Keeping in what seems like it will be a tradition with the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer DLCs, all characters and weapons have to be unlocked via the in-game store.
The Resurgence Pack will release on May 29th on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
