President of Nintendo Iwata just gave his Pre-E3 Wii U Stream. It certainly creates buzz for Microsoft to deal with as the show starts tomorrow. Nintendo will go last and revealed a bunch of stuff here, this is the kind of ripple to make Microsoft possibly make last minute shifts.
1.Iwata is a wizard who made a Wii u appear in his hand.
2.Wii U Gamepad gets thumbsticks loses slide pad, adds love handles. This was my main concern for the system it looked horrible to handle.
3.Weird mark on left of gamepad is NFC Reader, I wish it was Nintendo Fun Card Reader. But it’s a data transfer button regardless.
4.TV Control button controls TVand Wii U if you let it. Madness.
5.Wii U still uses tablet controller for second screen, drawing, virtual golf club control. Everything from last years E3 show remains true.
6.Wii U Pro Controller resembles 360 controller, moves ABXY buttons where right thumbstick is. They do a quick switc and the controller still looks sick
7.Wii u Conference Calling with users on your friends list using the tablet as a webcam.
8.Plaza is a cool message board where you can post on a WiiU UI forum built into your system. Every game has its own forum and can be used to brag or post for help. Will need to be heavily moderated for spoilers. Iwata guarantees it will be.
9.Miiverse is what you see when yuou boot up your system. Question has been answered about Nintendo opening up communication lines with others. Your Mii is always open to communication and broadcasting what your playing.
10.This is an option that can be turned on in games like New Super Mario Brothers Mii to show others color commentary in game or challenges to other players. Liking the challenge feature which was what the Xbox 360′s leaderboards for XBLA was originally designed for.
11.Black Wii U standard Gamepad really looks like a Game Gear from the back.
12. Un-Named Action Figure Hero was the real star of the show, and probably future candidate for E3 memes
